Practice software for a sole practitioner CA: the whole office on one login.
When you are the partner, the manager and the article, the risk is not a lack of skill. It is the date that sat in your head, the client who never sent the statement, and the bill you forgot to raise. CA Bundals holds those three things for you and stays out of the way of the work itself.
The screens on this page show the product’s demo firm, which has a team. A practice of one sees the same screens with one name on them.
Start with four apps. Open the rest when a client needs them.
Nobody uses all 30. This is the usual order.
The four to start with
ComplianceEvery date for every client on one calendar, laid out from what the client is.GSTMonthly, quarterly and annual GST for regular, QRMP and composition clients.Income TaxITR, advance tax and tax audit dates, with the acknowledgement kept.DocumentsA checklist sent as a link. The client uploads from the phone, with no login. What most single practices add next
InvoicingInvoices from the work you finished, on your own price list.PaymentsA pay link on each invoice, through your own Razorpay account.WhatsAppRequests and reminders from your own number, in English or Hindi.Client PortalA portal with your firm’s name, opened with a one-time code.Tax ComputationA computation under both regimes for individual and HUF clients.DSC & VaultClient portal logins kept encrypted, and DSC expiry dates watched.A calendar that builds itself from what each client is.
Adding a client means answering five questions: what kind of entity, which registrations, which GST scheme, what turnover, which states. The rules lay out the client’s year from those answers. You do not maintain a due-date sheet.
- Each row says why it applies
- When a date is extended, the affected rows move
- One-off items go in by hand: a notice reply, a bank’s request
Clients send papers without calling you.
A request is a checklist sent as a link. The client uploads from the phone with no password. Reminders go on the days you set and stop when the last paper arrives. Messages go from your firm’s own WhatsApp Business number once you connect it. Until then, each message opens in WhatsApp on your phone with the text written, ready for you to send.
- Files land in the client’s vault, sorted by financial year
- The client sees returns, acknowledgements and bills in a portal under your name
- Portal logins and DSC expiry sit in an encrypted vault
The bill goes out the day the work is done.
Finished work becomes unbilled work. Raise the invoice from it on your own price list, add the challan you paid for the client, and send a pay link. Payments go to your own Razorpay account once you have connected it. What is unpaid is aged for you.
- GST on your fee worked out on the invoice
- Fees outstanding, sorted by how old they are
- Paid status and the receipt show in the client’s portal
Nothing has to be set up again when you hire
Add a person and give them a role: partner, manager, staff or article. Limit the login to the clients and the apps it needs. The work already recorded stays where it is, and sign-off starts to mean something, because prepared and approved are now two people.
What it does for a practice of one, and what it leaves to you
What it does
- Lays out each client’s year from five answers
- Chases papers through a link, with reminders that stop by themselves
- Gives working papers when you want them: tax computation, GSTR-2B reconciliation, certificates
- Raises bills from finished work and takes payment by link
- Gives your clients a portal under your own name
What it does not do
- Submit returns or connect to any government portal
- Replace Tally or your return utilities
- Send messages from a number that is not yours
- Need installing. It opens in a browser
Questions a single practitioner asks
It works for both. With one login you are the partner, so sign-off, settings and every client are yours.
No. Most single practices start with the calendar, GST, income tax and documents, then add invoicing and the client portal.
Plans are priced for the firm, not per client and not per user, and they differ in the apps and limits they include. The pricing page has the table.
No. Upload links and pay links open in the phone’s browser. The portal signs in with a one-time code on the mobile number you hold for them.
No. CA Bundals prepares, tracks and reminds. You submit on the government portals and record the acknowledgement here.
More on what CA Bundals does
Dates, form numbers, rates and limits on this page are the product’s defaults for FY 2026-27. Verify each against the current notification. The firm, staff and clients in the screens are demo data, and the screens are drawings, not photographs.
Put your own clients in and see next month laid out.
Every firm starts with 14 days of all 30 apps. No setup fee. Plans and limits are on the pricing page.
