Bookkeeping software for CA firms: small clients’ books, kept beside Tally.
Double-entry books for the clients whose accounts your office writes: bank statements imported, each month closed by a checker, and the trial balance flowing into the year-end statements. It works alongside Tally and does not replace it.
Open, review, closed. Closing a month locks it, and reopening needs a partner and a reason.
Eight of the 30 apps read or feed the books
The Accounting app holds the books. Seven other apps can use them.

Financial StatementsYear-end statements in Schedule III format from the same trial balance.GST ReconciliationThe annual GST working fills its books columns from here.MSME PaymentsSupplier bills past their pay-by date, read from the books.Loans & CMACMA data for a bank loan that starts from the figures in the books.Vouchers from the keyboard, bank lines from the statement.
Enter vouchers from the keyboard on a Tally-style chart of accounts. Debits must equal credits, and the GST split follows the place of supply. For the bank, import the statement as a CSV. The column mapping is remembered, and a line containing words you have posted before is offered the same ledger again.
- A reconciliation statement to the closing balance
- Day book, ledgers, trial balance, P&L and balance sheet with the prior year
- Ageing and a GST summary
The suggestions come from plain rules. No AI reads the statement.
Month-end close, with a maker and a checker.
Each client’s month moves from open to review to closed. Before a month can close, the app runs plain checks over the books and lists what is still open. Closing locks the period, and reopening it needs a partner and a reason. With maker and checker on, a second person approves vouchers. Every change is written to an edit log that cannot be switched off.
- Recurring jobs for bookkeeping and bank reconciliation appear every period, assigned to a person
- A job marked done puts its fee into unbilled work
- The capacity view counts these jobs when it shows who is overloaded
Tally stays the source of truth.
For clients who are on Tally, a small connector on your PC syncs TallyPrime or ERP 9 with the client’s books here. It pulls ledgers and vouchers, only what changed since the last sync, and sends back the vouchers you approve, showing Tally’s own error if Tally refuses one. The connector makes outbound connections only.
It is new and has not been tested with every Tally setup, and it does not read stock quantities yet. Importing a trial balance or a Day Book file works without it.
- Year-end statements map each ledger to a Schedule III line once and remember it
- The same books fill the annual GST working, the supplier payment working and CMA data
What this bookkeeping software does, and what it leaves to you
What it does
- Keeps double-entry books for each client and each financial year
- Imports bank statements and suggests ledgers by rule
- Closes each month with checks, a lock and an edit log
- Syncs with Tally through a connector, or exchanges files
- Hands the trial balance to the year-end statements and other workings
What it does not do
- Replace Tally, or act as the client’s billing software. It does not make e-invoices or e-way bills
- Connect to a bank. Statements come in as files
- Read stock quantities from Tally yet
- Send a GST return from the books. Returns are prepared and uploaded by you, as today
Questions CA firms ask about keeping client books
No. It is for the small clients whose books your office writes, and it works alongside Tally. Where a client is on Tally, Tally remains the source of truth.
The P&L and the balance sheet, in the client portal, once you share them.
Yes. Every change to a voucher, a ledger, an opening balance, a bank posting, a lock or an approval is written to a log that cannot be edited or switched off.
The books, the bank import, the month-end close and the recurring jobs work the same for any office that writes books for others. The rest of the product, and its wording, assume a CA firm, so judge it on the Accounting app during the first 14 days.
The pricing page shows where each of the 30 apps starts. The first 14 days include all of them.
